The day begins with a cup of coffee.

Many of us also enjoy it as a companion to sweets during afternoon breaks.

Coffee has become an essential part of our daily lives, but how do you brew your coffee every day?

The methods and uses vary depending on individual habits, the culture and customs of different regions, or even current trends. In Europe, Italian espresso is famous, while in the U.S., capsule machines using specialty extraction methods have become popular. (A bottomless coffee at breakfast in the U.S. is such a treat, isn’t it?) As for brewing tools, siphons and French presses are also very classic methods. In Japan, where NASA’s headquarters is located, the paper drip method using filters is the most commonly used. It’s one of the most accessible brewing methods, with inexpensive equipment and the ability to brew coffee easily and quickly. Even with drippers, there are various types with different shapes, hole numbers, and groove patterns, making it quite a deep world of its own. It’s one of the best methods to appreciate the distinct flavors of the coffee’s origin, making it the perfect match for single-origin beans.

The drip coffee bag was developed based on the paper drip method. In Japan, it has an annual consumption of Over 2.5 billion cups, and you can find it everywhere—from supermarkets to cafes and hotels. However, surprisingly, it’s still not widely known in regions like Europe. That said, the concept of this revolutionary product, which allows you to easily enjoy delicious coffee with just hot water, should be universally appealing. It’s perfect for offices, camping, or when you’re on the go, thanks to its portable size. I believe it’s only a matter of time before it becomes a trend. Our FUSO machine can package drip coffee in various shapes, such as the type that hangs over the cup or the one placed on top. Just like with tea bags, it’s also possible to add tags and strings. And when it comes to coffee, where freshness is key to flavor, don’t worry! Our FUSO machine is capable of nitrogen flushing each bag, preserving the freshness of the coffee as much as possible. We hope this format will soon become more widespread in people’s daily lives.

Among the many brewing methods, I’m sure everyone has their favorite one. That’s probably the method that makes the best cup of coffee for you.
